Hazel Eyes: Chapter 12

A/N
I’m so sorry for the delay. I kind of got writers’ block with this story and I kind of forgot what happened in the last chapter. But anyways here’s the next chapter.

Chapter 12
Now I kind of wish I asked Logan or Asher to drive me home even though I wanted to hang out with Taylor. Just in case something like this happens. Wait how did I not see this coming? This doesn’t make sense at all.

“Iz.” Taylor got me out of my train of thoughts. “Iz, what do we do?”

“I don’t know.” Damon laughed. “I’m not strong enough to use ability.”

“Aw too bad.” Lilith said with a giggle. I gave her an evil look. “See she’s already part of us, Damon.” Seth and Damon laughed.

“I will never be part of you.” I said through my teeth. “I will never betray my family or friends.” I felt the earth shake a little. I also felt a little dizzy. Taylor grabbed my arm tightly and the weird thing was I didn’t feel dizzy. That’s weird. I thought to myself.

“Iz? Are you okay?” Taylor asked. I nodded my head.

“Don’t let go of me, okay?” I looked at Taylor, she nodded her head.

“Look how cute.” Seth said as he created an electric current in his hands. I heard Taylor gasp. This was probably a lot for Taylor right now. I wish Taylor wasn’t here with me right now. This was way too dangerous for her. She would die if anything touched her. It would obviously kill me too, but I have abilities that will maybe save me and Taylor.

I closed my eyes and thought really hard, so maybe Asher would get the message. Asher I need help. Démoniaque Mortelle are back. I’m alone with Taylor. I opened my eyes and I found my mom, dad, Hunter, Alexander, Logan, Aunt Sabrina, Uncle Andrew, Asher, and Tasha around me. I looked at Asher. He winked at me. I smiled. It was good to know that Asher got my mind message.

“Damon, didn’t I tell you that Isabelle doesn’t want to join your stupid little group.” Alexander said. Damon just laughed. “She will never join, even if it kills her.” I eyes widen when Alexander said that.

“Shut up, Xander.” I looked at him and he had a big smile on his face.

“Well am I wrong?” Alexander asked. Logan hit Alexander in the back of his head. “Ow.”

“Thank you, Logan.” I smiled at Logan. “Okay I would never join Démoniaque Mortelle. Ever.” Lilith gave me a death glare.

“Well if you won’t join us, then we have to kill your little useless human.” Lilith said. Seth chuckled. I looked at Taylor, she had her face in my arm and she was shaking a lot. I didn’t know what to do. I knew that I had to get Taylor out of here, but how.

“I like that idea, Lili.” Damon said with a devilish smile. I was starting to get mad at what Lilith and Damon were saying. If they hurt or touch Taylor I will kill them myself.

“Thank yo—” Lilith was attacked by a wolf. Lilith was screaming. “Damon!” That’s when I heard the loudest scream ever. I dropped to my knees. Taylor dropped with me.

“Make it stop, Iz.” Taylor yelled at me.

“I can’t. I’m not doing that.” Then the screaming stopped. I looked around. The wolf stopped attacking Lilith. Everyone was on their knees covering their ears. “What was that?” Logan slowly got up from his knees.

“That was a sonic scream.” He said. Everyone else slowly got up from their knees. Who has sonic scream because that was crazy loud and annoying. I knew it wasn’t me or my family members. Who was it? It was Sophia. Asher told me in my head. I turned around and saw Sophia and Jayden standing a couple feet behind me.

“Hi, Isabelle.” Sophia waved at me. I awkwardly waved back. Sophia started walking toward me. “We kind of knew you would need help.”

“Even though we’re not allowed to use our abilities.” Jayden stated.

“Wait if you’re not allowed to use your abilities, then what’s the point of actually having an ability?” I asked because it didn’t make any sense at all.

“No, we’re allowed to use our ability.” Sophia said. Wait now I’m more confused than before. “We’re just not allowed to use it unless we are told to, like helping a war or fight. But that only happens when the people need our help badly and a lot of the people are dying or dead.” Okay now that really doesn’t make sense even more.

“Um okay.” I got up slowly from my knees helping Taylor helping up. She was shaking and she hasn’t opened her eyes. “Taylor.” She fainted. “Daddy!” I yelled. Uncle Andrew ran to my side and took Taylor.

“I’ve got her, Isabelle.” He told me. “Tasha and I will watch her.” I nodded.

“Don’t worry about Taylor. She’s in good hands.” Uncle Andrew looks at Tasha. She nods her head and Uncle Andrew takes off. “Don’t worry, Isabelle.” Tasha walks up to my mom. She and mom transport home with Taylor and Uncle Andrew.

“Hey!” Seth yelled. I focused my attention to Seth. “I want to fight. Not talk and take care of a stupid human.” I felt my hands get cold. I looked down at my hands and saw that they were blue and there was ice on my hands. That gave me an idea. I looked at Hunter. He looked at my hands and smiled.

“Maybe you should chill out Seth.” I smiled. “Now Hunter.” Hunter sprayed Seth with water and I froze Seth where he was standing. I smiled bigger. I was happy finally Hunter and I worked as a team for the first time.

“Nice job, sis.” Hunter said. I nodded my head as a agreement. “Two down. One to go.” Hunter smiled at Damon.

“You may have Lilith and Seth down, but you can’t stop me. Right Isabelle.” Damon looked at me. I wasn’t sure why he was looking at me for.

“No.” Asher ran toward me.

“Attack everyone!” Damon commanded. Asher started throwing punches at me. I ducked and blocked some of them.

“Asher stop it.” I cried out. I didn’t know how to fight. “Daddy!” I heard my dad run next to me.

“Move, Isabelle.” I ducked and crawled away. Dad was throwing punches at Asher. Asher ducked and dodged some of them. “Isabelle get inside Asher’s mind. Talk to him.” Dad commanded. Asher what’s going on? I talked to Asher in his mind. Damon has the ability to command anyone to do whatever he tells them to do. Asher answered back.

“Daddy. Damon is controlling Asher. How do I stop it?” Dad continued to fight Asher. I wasn’t sure how Asher could handle Dad’s punches. Dad’s ability was strength. I heard a growl and then a guy yelling.

“You pathetic little girl get out me!” Damon yelled. Madison was attacking Damon in wolf form. Asher stopped attacking dad.

“Asher are you okay?” I asked. Asher semi nodded his head. “That was kind of scary.”

“You’re telling me. I’m surprised that your dad didn’t punch me all the way the street.” I looked at dad. He was chuckling. I wonder what was so funny.

“I was thinking about it, but what’s that going to help. Isabelle, I really need to teach you how to fight, especially if that happens again. You’re lucky Asher’s punches didn’t cause any damage to you.” Dad explained. I shrugged my shoulders. I looked back at Asher. He was rubbing his knuckles. I’m pretty sure punching dad would hurt a lot. Dad didn’t seem to look like he got hurt at all, but dad never gets hurt. He’s strong.

“I know, but Uncle Drew never taught me how to punch or anything.” Dad shook his head. “Yes, I know. Uncle Drew should have taught me how to fight, but he’s just like you Dad. He’s scared of hurting me.”

“I’m only scared because I’m stronger than you, honey.” I nodded my head a little.

“I know, dad.” Dad walked toward me and hugged me.

“Maybe Hunter, Logan, or Alexander will teach you.” Dad kissed the top of my head. “I wish I could teach you, but I couldn’t really punch you unless you have force field.” I shook my head.

“No I don’t have force field.”

Hazel Eyes: Chapter 11

Chapter 11

“Logan, do you know any royal families?” I asked, hoping he did. He gave me a weird look. “What?”

“There is only one royal family, Iz. Why?” I rolled my head a little. “Isabelle? What do you want to know about the royals?” I clicked my tongue against my top teeth.

“Well the kids stopped by the school today to talk to me. Apparently they were looking for me because I’m going to be the son’s guard when I’m powerful.” Logan groaned. “And apparently one of the kids was my best friend in preschool. Sophia.”

“I didn’t know Sophia was part of the royal family.” I nodded my head. “Wow then what was she doing at a regular preschool with you.” I shrugged my shoulders.

“I just found that out today, Logan. The royal’s son Jayden kept staring at me, it was weird and uncomfortable.” Logan’s eyes widen. “What?”

“Um aren’t you dating Asher.” I choked. “Oh I know Isabelle. I’m not stupid. You guys make it obvious when you around each other.” I can’t believe Logan knew about Asher and me. I know he wouldn’t tell mom or dad. Asher would be killed if they found out.

“You won’t tell mom or dad, right Logan?”

“Of course I won’t tell mom or dad. If dad found out, then Asher’s screwed.” I rolled my eyes. “Just saying.”

“What about me?” Logan shrugged his shoulders. “Nothing will happen to me because I’m dad’s baby girl and only baby girl.” Logan chuckled to himself.

“That doesn’t mean anything. You’re part of it.” I rolled my eyes again. I guess I was part of it with Asher. “Just make sure they don’t found out or Hunter or Alexander either. Because you know if Hunter or Alexander they are going to tell mom and dad just to feel good about themselves.” Yup that sounded like Alexander and Hunter. Big mouthed older brothers.

“I’m surprised you didn’t say anything, Logan.” Logan put his hand on his chest like he was hurt. I know he wasn’t because he was bad at acting or pretending.

“I’m hurt, Isabelle.” I smiled and rolled my eyes. “I’m so hurt. I could cry.”

“Whatever, Logan. You’re the worst actor alive.” Logan gasped and covered his mouth. “Oh my gosh, Logan. Shut up.” I laughed at him. Logan got up from my bed and walked to the door.

“I’m really hurt, Isabelle.” He walked out of my room. I started cracking up. “Very hurt.” He yelled from the hallway. My brother is really special. Of course he tried to act, but everyone knew he wasn’t the actor of the family. Apparently I was the drama queen in the family, which was a lie.

I asked Asher if he could drive me to school and drop me off early, because I knew Taylor got to school early to practice a little before school starts. I needed to talk to her. I already asked mom and dad if I could tell her my secret, they said that if I really trust her than I could tell her. They weren’t promise she won’t freak out about it.

I was really scared to tell her. What if she doesn’t talk to me because I’m different? Hopefully she doesn’t do that. I don’t want to hang out with Hunter and Tasha, the couple that aren’t a couple but they act like it.

I walked to the gym where Taylor was practicing. I opened the door to the gym. When I walked in the door slammed close. Taylor looked to see who it was. She didn’t look happy to see me.

“Hi, Taylor.” She didn’t say anything and went back to practicing. “I wanted to talk to about something.” She still didn’t say anything to me. “I know you’re mad at me, Taylor. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you in the first place, but I wasn’t allowed to say anything to anyone. Tasha and Asher already knew because they’re just like me.” Taylor stopped practicing.

“What do you mean Tasha and Asher are just like you?” Taylor asked. She finally said something.

“That’s why I’m here.” Taylor looked at me. “I’m very different from you, Taylor.”

“How different? Are you human?” She asked. I smiled, but faded away.

“Yes I’m human, but a special human. I have special abilities that no human here has.” Taylor looked very confused. “I’m not from here. I’m from a place called Esprit. I have vision of the future, some times they come true and some times they don’t. Apparently I’m going to by powerful when I get all my abilities. I control the elements or something like that.”

“Wait that was you. You started that random earthquake.” I nodded my head. “How did that happen?”

“Well I started getting mad, the earth started shaking. Everyone was telling me to calm down, which was pissing me off more. I was using too much and I fainted.”

“So your family have special abilities, too?” I nodded my head. “What about Tasha and Asher?” I nodded my head again. “Are you allowed to tell me what they have?”

“I’m not sure, but I’m sure Hunter and Tasha would tell you if you asked them.”

“Can I ask your family?” I shrugged my shoulders.

“I guess. I mean I had to ask my parents if I could tell you. You can’t really trust a lot of people these days.” Taylor nodded her head. “So are we friends again?”

“Oh hon we were always friends.” I walked up to Taylor and hugged her.

“I missed you, Tay.” She laughed.

“Iz, honey it’s been a day.”

“I know, but still.”

At lunch Taylor sat with Hunter, Tasha and me. Taylor was asking Hunter and Tasha what their ability was. Hunter looked at me. He wasn’t sure if he could trust Taylor. ‘Mom and dad said it’s fine.’ I mouthed to Hunter. He nodded his head before he mouthed, ‘do you trust her?’ I nodded my head.

“You don’t have to answer the question if you don’t want to. I understand.”

“No, I was making sure it was okay. I have the ability to control, generate or absorb water.” Hunter said. Taylor nodded her head, then looked at Tasha.

“I can heal others.” Taylor nodded her head again.

“So no one here knows about you guys having abilities. Besides me.” Hunter and Tasha nodded their heads. “Interesting. So there are other like you?” I nodded my head.

“Some are good. Some are bad. There is a royal family. The guy and two girls yesterday are royal and I’m going to be the royals son’s guard when I become powerful. Bad guys want me on their side when I’m powerful as well.”

“So are you the only person to have more than one ability?” I nodded my head. “Wow. Do you know what other abilities you’re going to happen?”

“That’s something no one in my family know. Not Tasha or Asher know either. That’s kinda the bad thing.”

After school Taylor and I stayed after school because Taylor wanted to practice more before the game in two days. Hunter and Tasha got a ride from Asher. Even though Tasha was going over to Aunt Sabrina’s house to “study” with Hunter. I swear if one of them doesn’t ask anyone out I’ll do it myself. It was getting really annoying to watch them flirt, but not hold hands or kiss.

“Tay, I think you push yourself too hard. You’re the most volleyball player at this school.” I told her.

“I know. But my coach said there’s going to be a scout at the next game.” I rolled my eyes.

“Tay, there were scouts at the last game you had.” I was helping her practicing, but wasn’t very good at volleyball. Actually I wasn’t very good at any sport.

After helping Taylor practice, she and I walked to the parking lot. I told Asher, Logan and dad I was going to get a ride with Taylor. We needed to catch up on things that we missed on. I found out that Taylor’s brother asked out one of the cheerleaders, but got turned down. He was upset for the whole day and he asked about me.

“Wait he asked about me?” Taylor nodded her head. “Why?”

“That boy got it bad for you. Even though he hides it from his friends.” I kind of figured Jason liked me, but I didn’t like him that way. I see him as another brother I don’t want.

“Hello, Isabelle.” I heard someone say. I looked away from Taylor. It was Damon with Lilith and Seth. Crap.

“Um Iz, do you know them?” I nodded my head. I couldn’t really talk right now. I’m screwed and Taylor is dead. “Who are they?”

“They’re the bad guys I was talking about. Damon, Lilith, and Seth. They’re part of a group of other bad guys called Démoniaque Mortelle.”

“Um what’s going to happen?” Taylor started to panic. I shrugged my shoulders.

Hazel Eyes: Chapter 10

Chapter 10

“Wait your brother’s guard?” Sophia nodded. I shook my head. Why was everything happening to me? First my family comes back after 12 years. Then I found out that I’m going to be powerful. Asher likes me a lot that he’s going to hide his secret from my family and his. I really wish I had a normal life right now.

“Yea, my family and I are royals. Jayden needs a guard to protect him.” Sophia said. I gave Sophia a weird look. “Well you’re going to be powerful, so you would be a perfect guard.” I shifted my weight.

“I don’t know if I’ll be a great guard for your brother, Sophia. I don’t even know how to control or how to use it.” Jayden wouldn’t stop smiling at me. “Um Sophia why is your brother smiling me for?” Sophia looks at her brother then back at me.

“Oh no reason.” She smiled. Okay this family was kind of weird. Madison wouldn’t stop smiling at me either would Jayden. Sophia wouldn’t answer my question with the real answer.

“Okay, look I have to go. I have class that I’m missing. Does my family know you guys are here?” They all smiled at me. “Okay you guys are kind of freaky.”

“I hope your family knows we’re here. You’re the one with the visions.” Madison said. I nodded my head. I walked to my class. Thank god they let me go finally.

At lunch I sat with Taylor of course so did Tasha and Hunter. Hunter and Tasha keep asking me what happened to me this morning. I told them of course a lie because Taylor was listening.

“So did you know those people outside the school?” Taylor asked. I shook head. “Then why didn’t you just walk away?” I shrugged my shoulders. “Iz, you’re lying to me. We’ve been friends since you were a freshman and you never lied to me. What’s going on?”

I took a deep breath. “Taylor, I really wish I could tell you, but it’s a big family secret.” Taylor crossed her arms across her chest. “What?”

“If it’s a big family secret, how does Tasha and Asher know about this big family secret?” Taylor wasn’t  really happy about this. I didn’t answer her. “See I told you. You’re keeping secrets from me. I can’t believe Isabelle. You met Tasha and Asher 3 weeks ago and they know more than me. You know what when you want to tell me the truth you know where to find me.” Taylor walks away. I wanted to tell her the truth, but I didn’t know how I was going to tell her.

Hunter, Tasha and I walked home from school. Tasha and Hunter were talking about what happen in Chemistry today. And then PE the other half of the way home. I know Hunter has a crush on Tasha and Tasha has a crush on Hunter. They wouldn’t leave each others’ sides for a second. Hunter would walk Tasha to her classes everyday.

“Hey, Isabelle you okay? You haven’t said a word since lunch?” Tasha asked. I nodded my head. “Are you sure?”

“I don’t want to talk about it.” We arrived at the house. I walked to my room, dropped my backpack on the ground and threw myself on my bed. I wanted to die right here, right now. Someone knocked on my door.

“Go away.” I told them. “I don’t want to talk to anyone right now.”

“Well, it’s dinner time.” Logan said. I groaned.

“I’m not hungry.” I said through my pillow. I felt Logan sit on my bed. “Go away Logan. I don’t want to talk.”

“Too bad. Now what happen today?” He asked. I sat up and looked at him.  ”Well.” I sighed.

“Taylor got mad at me because I was lying to her and keeping secrets from her. I told her that I wanted to, but it was a family secret. I really hate lying to her like that, but it’s the only way to keep her safe from anyone or anything, I guess.”

“Well maybe it will be fine to tell her about everything. I mean I would ask mom and dad if you can tell Taylor. But you know they’re going to say no, because it’s a family secret and only people who know about it is people from Esprit.” Logan said. I leaned back on my bed. “I know it’s complicated, but get use to it. I know how you feel.”

“How do you know how I feel right?” I asked. I didn’t sit up. I was tired of going up and down.

“I had a friend that I was close to in high school, too. She was my best friend. Anyways she was getting worried about me because I wasn’t sleeping at all every night because the whole dream walking ability. I was so scared of falling asleep every night, so I would stay up all night. Mom told me I was a dream walker, meaning I could walk into anyone’s dream, if I wanted to. Cassidy wanted to know what was wrong with me. I told her I couldn’t tell what was wrong with me, she got mad and never talk to again.” I sat up and looked at Logan.

“How come I don’t know this Cassidy?” I asked. Logan sighed.

“Because we moved to a different state and went to a different school.” Logan explained. I nodded. “I know that sound weird and stupid, but yeah.”

Hazel Eyes: Characters 5

Name: Jayden
Age: 19
Description: Jayden is a part of a royal family with his sisters, Sophia and little sister Madison. He heard that there’s a person who  powerful in the future, he wanted them as his guard. He found out the it was gorgeous girl, he fell in love with her. He asked his parents where she was and he told them he was going to find her. He has the ability is phase though anything.

Age: 17
Description: She was actually friends with Isabelle when they were since preschool. They were best friends. When Sophia found out that Isabelle moved to the normal world. Sophia went depressed for a long time. When Jayden said that he was going to find his new future guard, she wanted to tag along. She didn’t want to take at home with her parents, who were making her doing stuff that would make her happy. She has the ability is sonic scream, which is the ability to generate vocal sounds of a different amplitude or frequency than that of a normal human.

Age: 7
Description: She loves animals. Since Madison is the youngest, she’s not allowed to do anything. But Jayden takes her everywhere he goes. She loves everywhere with Jayden. She loves both siblings equally. Madison did go through a dark phase when she was 5. Her mother locked Madison in her room until Madison was back to happy sweet side. Madison has the ability to animal morphing.

Hazel Eyes: Chapter 9

Chapter 9

It’s been one crazy week for me after forcing Xander against the wall on accident. I didn’t know I had telekinesis or controlling the weather. I’m so afraid what’s going to happen in the future, like if it’s true about becoming powerful. Who knows I might just another ability before the morning.

A blonde guy with shaggy hair was walking with a dirty blonde girl and a dirty blonde little girl. The little girl and dirty blonde girl were smiling. The blonde guy had puffy lips. He was kind of cute, too. 

“Hello, Isabelle.” The dirty blonde said. The little girl was still smiling.

“Hello?” I said.

“We’ve been looking for you.” The guy said. I gave him a weird look. I started walking away. “No, no please.” I stopped walking for a second.

“I don’t have time to play around here, okay?” The guy grabbed my hand. I looked at my hand and then at him. “Let go of me, please. I have class right now.” 

“Isabelle, please we don’t have time. You have to come before it’s too late.” The dirty blonde girl said. 

“How do I know you guys aren’t part of the Démoniaque Mortelle?” The little girl smiled bigger.

“Because we have attack you by now.” She said.

I woke up by someone jumping on my bed. I opened my eyes, it was Tasha. Of course she loves to wake you up in the crazy way. Last time  she woke me up with a air horn. Then last week, ice cold water. I swear this girl is going to kill me someday, but then heal me and do it again. Over and over again.

“Hey sleeping beauty.” Tasha said.

“Really Tasha? I was very peaceful in my dream.”

“Really? Was it a dream or a dream vision?” Tasha smiled.

“Both, I think.” Tasha stopped jumping on my bed and sat down.

“So what was it about?” Tasha smiled bigger. She loves hearing my visions, she the only one. But I know Logan was watching the dream, too.

“Well there were three people. A blonde guy, dirty blonde girl and a dirty blonde little girl walking toward me, I guess. The blonde guy had cute puffy lips. The dirty blonde girl said hello Isabelle and then the guy said they’ve been looking for me” Tasha gave me a weird look. “What?”

“Did you say puffy lips?” Tasha asked. I nodded. “Oh no, that’s not good.” Tasha said to herself.

“Umm Tasha, what are you talking about?” I asked. Tasha looked at me and smiled. “Tasha?” I gave her a weird look. I wasn’t getting any answers from her. Tasha looked at the clock.

“Oh look I guess it’s time to go. See you at school, Isabelle.” Tasha got up from my bed before I could ask another question. I groan and laid back down.

“What’s wrong, Iz?” I heard Logan ask. He sat on my bed and patting my legs. “I saw Tasha just ran out. What happened?” I shrugged. I sat up and brushed my hair behind my ear.

“I just told her about my dream vision, she asked question, then started talking to herself and then left without saying anything.”

“You mean the dream you had last night?” I nodded. “Oh umm, maybe you should stay home again today.”

“What? Why? And don’t give me a stupid excuse Logan.” I threw my legs off my bed.

“Well, umm the guy from your dream is umm. Just get ready for school.” Logan got up from my bed and walked out. I groan again. I got up and walked to my closet. What should I wear? 

“Maybe you should wear that cute blue Cobra Starship t-shirt and the black skinny jeans that a cute guy got you.” I heard a guy’s voice said. I looked in my closet and I didn’t find a blue Cobra Starship t-shirt or black skinny jeans.

“Umm I don’t have that outfit.” I turned around. Asher was leaning against the my door flame, smiling. “Oh hi. When did you get here?” I smiled. He walked in and sat on my bed.

“Well I came to drop off Tasha, but Hunter called me when I was already here telling me that your mom was going to drop them off at school.” Asher laid the clothes on my bed, and held out his hand.

“Asher, I can’t. I have to go to school before I’m late.” I grabbed the clothes. Asher grabbed my hand and I fell on my bed. “Asher.” He leaned down and kissed me. I wanted to push him away, but his lips were amazing. I lightly pulled him away. “Asher, please I have to go.” Asher got up.

“Okay. I’m sorry.” He seem sad. I felt bad, but I was going to be late for school.

“Maybe later, I promise.” I grabbed the clothes and walked to the my bathroom.

I asked Logan if he could drive me to school, because Asher left when I got out of the bathroom. I know it was my fault, but I told him I have to go. I do feel really bad, but really we’re not even dating and he treats me like I’m his girlfriend or something.

“Um thanks, Logan.” I grabbed my backpack. I get out of the car and starts walking to the lunchroom.

I stop walking because I remember I forgot something in Logan’s car. Crap. I walk back to the parking lot and Logan was gone. I sighed. Maybe he will come back

A blonde guy with shaggy hair was walking with a dirty blonde girl and a dirty blonde little girl. The little girl and dirty blonde girl were smiling. The blonde guy had puffy lips. He was kind of cute, too. Oh no. Not today.

“Hello, Isabelle.” The dirty blonde said. The little girl was still smiling. Why am I still standing here?

“Hello?” I said.

“We’ve been looking for you.” The guy said. I gave him a weird look. I started walking away. “No, no please.” I stopped walking for a second.

“I don’t have time to play around here, okay?” The guy grabbed my hand. I looked at my hand and then at him. “Let go of me, please. I have class right now.”

“Isabelle, please we don’t have time. You have to come before it’s too late.” The dirty blonde girl said.

“How do I know you guys aren’t part of the Démoniaque Mortelle?” The little girl smiled bigger.

“Because we have attack you by now.” She said. She had a point. “Please, Isabelle we’re not going to hurt you. We heard that you were going to be very powerful and wanted your help.”

“Wait how did you know I was going to be powerful and why do you want my help?” The guy let go of my hand and I crossed my arms cross my chest. “Who are you guys?”

“I am Sophia, my little sister Madison and my older brother Jayden.” Sophia said. Wait the name Sophia sounded familiar, but where did I hear that name before. “If you don’t remember, but you and I use to be best friends before you moved here.” Then it hit me. Oh my god, I remember Sophia in pre-school.

“Oh my god, Sophia. It’s been so long. How have you been?” I asked. Sophia smiled.

“I’ve been good. When I heard my brother was looking for a guard, I didn’t know it was going to be you.” I choked. “Are you okay?”

“Wait your brother’s guard?” Sophia nodded.

Chapter 8

My parents wanted to keep me home for a couple of days. My mom and I argue for hours about letting me go to school, but no. I didn’t see what the problem was. The Démoniaque Mortelle were going to get me again. I had Hunter to protect me, sad to say but it’s true (by the way Hunter and I are still not close. We talk now and then). But my mom told me that they would strike the school more times until they get me. I gave up on trying to convince my mom about me going to school.

I sat in my room for hours after the argument with my mom. I didn’t want to be stuck in this house for a couple of days. I would die. I need to see Taylor and see if she’s okay from the earthquake I caused. I could text message her, but I wanted to talk to her in person. My parents didn’t understand why I wanted to see Taylor. She’s my best friend and only friend.

I was listening to Evanecence. I didn’t know what else to listen to I wasn’t emotion or anrgy. It was something my ipod wanted to listen to apparently.

“I never did that. Logan is a liar.” Asher chuckled. “I never did that.”

“Oh really? Why did you choke?”

“I didn’t choke.”

“Uh huh, daddy’s little princess.” I wanted to hit Asher so bad. He was annoying me so bad with this daddy’s little princess shit.

“I am not daddy’s little princess.” I yelled.

“Uh huh whatever Iz,” Xander answered me. I turned around and Xander was leaning against the threshold of my room. I looked at him. Xander was sent back. Boom! He hit the wall.

He got up. There was a bent in the wall. I gasped. I heard everyone run to the scene. What’s up with my ipod playing songs that fit or close to the situation right now.

“Isabelle what happened?” Asher asked.

“I sent Xander back and he hit the wall.” I tried to explain.

“What? How?” I shook my head.

“I just looked at him and he went back. I don’t understand this.”

“Isabelle, what happened?” Dad asked. I looked at him.

“I just looked at Alexander, then he was sent back, and hit the wall. That’s all I know.” I said slowly. Did I cause Xander to be sent back and hit the wall hard. “I didn’t mean it. I don’t know what happened.” I looked down.

“It’s okay, Isabelle. Call Asher and tell him to come over and bring Tasha.” I nodded slowly. I turned around away from the scene I caused. I felt a tear run down my cheek.

“Isabelle!” I heard Asher yelled to me.

“What?” I choked to say.

“What’s going on?” More tears ran down my cheeks. I didn’t mean to hurt Xander. It was an accident.

“I hurt Alexander. Please come over with Tasha.” I cried.

“Okay Tasha and I will be over in a minute.” Asher hung up. I put my phone down on my bed. I closed my eyes for a second and opened them. What just happened? Did I really send Xander back and hit the wall. It felt like a dream. Maybe I was asleep and this is just a dream. Nothing really happened. I closed my eyes again and kept them close to 20 minutes.

“Isabelle.” I heard someone call my name. I opened my eyes. Asher was sitting on my bed. “Are you okay?” I shook my head.

“I don’t know what happened. I was just looking at Alexander and then he flew back and hit the wall. When he got up there was a bent in the wall.” I cried. Asher moved closer toward me. “Did I do it?”

“Your family believe you did, but you didn’t mean to.” I rested my head on Asher’s arm. Asher rubbed my back trying to calm down a little.

“Is Alexander ok?” I looked up at Asher. He nodded.

“He just has a big bruise on his back, but he’s fine.” I sighed. “Isabelle, he’s fine I promise you. Do you want me to go get him so he can tell you himself?” I nodded. Asher sighed and got up. I fell back on my bed.

I felt my bed go down a little. I straighten up. Alexander was sitting on my bed. I threw myself at him to hug him.

“I’m so sorry, Xander. I don’t know what happened.” Alexander wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back.

“It’s okay, Is. You didn’t mean for it to happen and you didn’t know about your “other” ability.” Alexander chuckled. “I’m fine, baby sister. I have big bruise on my back.”

“Okay, but I am sorry.” Alexander kissed the top of my head.

“It’s okay, baby sister.”

Hazel Eyes: Chapter 7

Chapter 7

“Wait that doesn’t make sense.” Alexander said. I looked at Xander. “Damon has the ability to force others to obey one’s spoken commands. How did Asher not get controlled by him?” Everyone looked at me.

“What? I swear I didn’t do it.”

“I think you did, Isabelle.” Asher said quietly. I don’t think I did.

“Maybe they’re right Gabe,” Mom said. “Maybe Isabelle is powerful.” I looked at dad. He had a weird look on his face.

“But how is she going to get the ability from when other people have the same abilities that she’s going to have?” This can’t be true. I looked down at the ground.

“But it is, Isabelle.” Asher whispered to me. How am I powerful? “That’s what we’re trying to figure out.”

“But no one told me about me having visions and now no one told me about being powerful and getting to get kidnapped by 3 teens.” I yelled. Asher rubbed his thumb over my hand. I forgot we were still holding hands. “So is anyone going to tell me what’s going to happen?” I looked at everyone.

“Well Isabelle, you’re the one who can see the future.” Hunter said. I looked at him with a evil look.

“I don’t think that’s what she means, Hunter,” Logan said. “I think she means what’ going to happen to her when she gets all of the abilities she’s going to have.” I nodded to Logan.

“Yes that’s what I mean.”

“Well, honey we don’t know what’s going to happen to you. When you were born elders came in and told us what ability you and Hunter  were going to happen. Of course they said Hunter’s ability would have something to do with water. They said that you were going to be a very powerful girl when you got older. Your father and I didn’t understand what they were talking about.” Mom explained.

“So?”

“Well then they told us to protect you with our lives or evil will come and get you, so we sent you out of Esprit and to your aunt and uncle’s.”

“Yea, but no one told me about everything. When I turned 10 I had my first vision. I didn’t know what was happening. I was so scared.” I cried.

“We are so sorry, honey. But it was for your safety.” Dad said.

“You said that every time.” I growled. “I haven’t seen you guys in 12 years and now you say you’re sorry.” I felt the ground shake a little.

“What’s happening?” Tasha asked.

“I think it’s Isabelle.” Hunter said.

“Isabelle, calm down.” Alexander said. I growled.

“Calm down? I’m not going to calm down.” The ground shook more. I felt a little weak and dizzy. “What’s happening to me?” I felt like I was going to pass out.

“Iz, are you okay?” I heard Logan said. I fainted.

“Isabelle.” I heard Asher shout my name.

I slowly opened my eyes. I sat up and looked around, I was in my room. I couldn’t remember happened at school. I don’t remember if I even went to school today. I heard my door opened. It was Asher. He walked in.

“Hey you okay, Isabelle?” I shrugged. What happened? Why does my head hurt? “You were confused on what was going to happen to you when you get more abilities. Your mom explained a little on how your father and her knew you were going to be powerful. You got upset, the earth shook a little and then you got mad and there was a small earthquake and you fainted.”

“So what happened before all that?” Asher walked to my chair at my desk.

“The Démoniaque Mortelle came.” Damon, Seth, and Lilith, right? Asher nodded. What about the kiss we had? Asher smiled. “Yes that did happen.”

“Does my family know about it?” Asher shook his head. “Okay good they would probably freak out about it.”

“I don’t think they would.” What are you talking about, Asher?  “The law in Esprit is very different from here. If the family likes or accepts the guy before the girl is born or when she’s younger, they are allowed to date. But since I’m a family friend your family will be fine if we dated.”

“I’m so confused, but whatever. That’s a weird law.” Asher nodded.

“Very, but it makes sense because if you like Damon for example your family would let you date him because they don’t like him and they would kill him.” I think I would like to stay here then go to Esprit. Asher chuckled. “Yeah I would stay here too.”

“So what’s Esprit like?” My door opened again.

“It’s very dark right now,” Logan answered. “More of The Démoniaque Mortelle are trying to take over Esprit. All families are fighting to save Esprit.”

“What was it like before it went dark?” Logan smiled.

“It was very beautiful very colorful from all different kind of flowers and plants, the air is crisp and fresh, all 4 seasons.” Logan explained.

“But what’s different from here and Esprit is that the sky changes colors in the different seasons. So in summer it’s red orange, witner it’s white blue, fall it’s purple, and spring is a pink.” Asher said.

“Sounds amazing.” I smiled.

“It is before the Démoniaque Mortelle destroyed it. Now it’s black and dark. There’s no light at all.” Asher said.

“All The Démoniaque Mortelle know about you and we have to keep you here so they don’t find you. If they find you they will use you to take over Esprit.” Logan said.

After what Asher and Logan told me I’ve been so scared. I also wanted to be kept safe and away from The Démoniaque Mortelle. It was a scary feeling to know bad guys are stalking you every minute, movement, and second. You think rapists, stalkers, and kidnappers were scary, but they’re not going to kidnap you and use your many abilities to take over a world no normal human knows about.

Logan and I were walking around outside in the backyard. I really needed the fresh air since I’ve been stuck inside because I fainted and been conscious for maybe 3 hours.

“So you and everyone are very good at controlling your abilities. Do you learn that in school or something?” I asked Logan.

“Actually you do. You start learning how to control your ability once you get your ability.”

“So if I wasn’t here and in Esprit I would be learning about how to control my ability or abilities should I say.” Logan nodded.

There was an awkward silence between Logan and I. “Do you know why I fainted?”

“Because the earthquake you were causing was too strong for you and you didn’t know how to control it or how to use it.” I nodded slowly. “I think you have the ability to control weather or control the elements except water and fire.”

“That would be kind of cool.” Logan chuckled. “What? Do you think so?” He chuckled again.

“Yeah would kind of cool. But what’s cooler than that is I finally get to hang out with my baby sister.” Logan hugged me tightly. I hugged him back.

“You’re right that is cooler.” I giggled.

He was disowned by his parents when he started going evil when he was 10. He went to school with Isabelle and Hunter. His ability is persuasion, which is the ability to force others to obey one’s spoken commands.

Chapter 6

That was the weirdest vision I had in my life. Now I want to know if this is going to happen. I hope it doesn’t because I’m 16 and Asher’s 21, I don’t know how my brothers and my parents are going to feel about this. Or maybe they don’t have to find out about it.

I have to find Taylor and tell her. Oh wait I can’t, she doesn’t know about how I have visions. How am I suppose to tell her without using the word “visions”.

The bell rings, I got up from my chair and walked to find Taylor. You could usually find her talking to Bryon near the 100 building. Her crush since freshman year, so she told me.

“Isabelle Gillette please come to the front office. Isabelle Gillette please come to the front office.” The announcer said. I groaned and turned my direction and walked to the front office. I opened the door and walked to the front desk.

“Hello Isabelle,” Mrs. Lopez said. “Someone is here to come and pick you up for today.” But it’s early in the morning and I just got here maybe 30 minutes ago.

“Um okay.” I saw Asher standing near the door. I rolled my eyes. Great, I wonder what he told her. “Thank you, Mrs. Lopez.” I walked over to where Asher standing.

“I told her, I was your cousin.” He whispered. I looked at him with a weird face.

“How did you know what I was thinking?” Asher opened the door for me.

“I can read minds.” I walked outside slowly. “I thought I told you.” I shook my head.

“You didn’t,” I gasped. “Wait that’s why you laughed at me the day my family came.” Asher didn’t answer me. I grabbed his arm to make him stop walking. I let go of his arm and I looked at him.

“Fine. I did, I didn’t know it wasn’t important,” Asher said. He looked at me. I saw something in his eyes. “What?” I shook my head.

“Nothing.” I started walking to Asher’s Audi A10. I felt Asher grab my arm. I turned to look at him. “What?”

“You had a vision today, didn’t you?” I nodded. “So what happened?” I burshed my hair out of my face.

“It’s nothing.” I tried to walk away, but Asher didn’t let go of my arm. I looked at him. There was that thing in his eyes again. What the heck was it?

“Isabelle.” I looked away from Asher. There’s nothing to talk about, Asher. “There is, Isabelle. Tell me what happened in your vision.” It wasn’t important. It was just a random vision. “Then why is it bothering you so much if it was just a random vision.”

“Why did you come to find me on your freewill, Asher?” I looked in his hazel eyes. It looked like his eyes got lighter than normal.

“Because I can. Why is it so important, Isabelle.” Asher’s eyes got darker when he said that. That was a little different from my vision, but hey my visions change but they usually stay the same in a way.

“I just want to know, Asher.” I moved my head to the side to look away from Asher. I felt Asher put his hands on both sides of my face and gently made me look at him. His eyes were light again. He lean down slowly until his lips met mine. Oh god Asher is kissing me. I felt a small shock that sent a shiver to my whole body when Asher’s lips touch mine. His lips felt soft and warm.

I got on my tiptoes and wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt his chest touch mine. He felt warm against me. I could smell cinnamon and apples. It smelled warm just like his body. It reminded me of winter, which is kind of my favorite season because my eyes are blue and with the snow people say they get brighter because of the snow.

Asher slowly pulled away from me. He looked into my eyes and smiled. I bit my lip. His eyes were light. Why were his eyes light before and after he kissed me?

“You have no idea how long I wanted to do that,” Asher whispered. I heard someone clapped. Asher and I looked to see who was clapping. A guy who was older than me. He had black long shaggy hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and skinny. He was standing with a girl who looked older than me but I’m not sure, and a boy who looked younger than me. The girl had black long hair with a weird hairstyle, voliet eyes, she was shorter than the blue eyed guy, and she was pale. The younger boy had brown shaggy hair, taller than the girl, he was wearing a hoodie so I didn’t know what color eyes he had.

“What a show.” The blue eyed guy said. The girl giggled.

“Yes, who knew Asher had it in him.” The girl said. “But you would think Isabelle’s brothers would approve it.”

“I don’t think they know about Asher’s feelings for Isabelle.” The boy said. Asher pushed me behind him.

“What do you guys want?” Asher growled. The blued eyed guy smiled. “You can’t have her, Damon.” Damon was still smiling.

“Well I guess you forgot about what I can do, Asher.” Damon said. I grabbed onto Asher’s arm. He grabbed my hand and felt that shock again.

“Just give us the girl, Asher and you won’t get hurt.” The girl said.

“Why don’t you, Seth, and Lilith leave, Damon.” Damon walked forward toward Asher and me. Asher pushed me back as he walked backward.

“Come on Asher, don’t be a dick. Give us the girl.” Lilith said. I heard a POOF and SWOOSH sound.

“Damon, Seth Lilith it’s good to see you again.” I head Alexander said. “But you’re not taking my sister.” Lilith smiled. So did Seth.

“Aww why not? She would be perfect for us. She’s very powerful.” Lilith  purred.

“Leave now!” Alexander’s hand were on fire. “I don’t want to burn you guys.”

“Oh. So Alex, you want to play do you?” Seth said. Electric currents were coming out of Seth’s fingers.

“But you know what’s weird. Water and Electrical currents don’t mix.” I heard Hunter say. “Don’t mess with my sister, Seth. Or you’re have to mess with me.” I looked around and I saw my whole family including Tasha protecting me.

“Fine, next time Gillettes. We will get Isabelle.” Damon said. “Let’s go, guys.” Seth turned out the electric currents. Lilith and Seth followed Damon to the exit of the school.

Asher turned around to face me. We were still holding hands.

“Isabelle, you okay?” I looked into Asher’s hazel eyes. “You’re shaking.” I didn’t know I was shaking. I didn’t know what was going on, I must have blanked out.

“Yea. What happened? Who were they?” What did they want with me?

“They found out that you might be powerful in the future, so they want to use you for the power. That was Damon, Lilith, and Seth the Démoniaque Mortelle. Which means Demonic Mortal in french.” Asher explained.

“Wait that doesn’t make sense.” Alexander said. I looked at Xander. “Damon has the ability to force others to obey one’s spoken commands. How did Asher not get controlled by him?”

Description: Brianna is Logan, Alexander, Hunter and Isabelle’s mom. She has teleportation. Of course she sent Isabelle away to protect her, but she really missed her only daughter. Of course she loves her sons, but she loves her daughter the most because she had to deal with guys for 12 years.
