Young and Broken sample

I put my ipod in my idock. I was in the mood to listen to something upbeat and happy, but I wasn’t sure what song I wanted to listen to. Was I in the mood for Cee Lo Green? Britney Spears? Or Black Eyed Peas? No I wasn’t in the mood for any of those artists. They weren’t what I really wanted.

I just pushed play on my ipod and just let the songs play from the last time I listened to my ipod. The first song that started playing was Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. I was dancing like Michael Jackson. I use to take dance classes before mom died, but then dad took me out because dancing reminded him of mom all the time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine
I got a love and I know that it’s all mine, oh, ooh oh oh
Do what you want, but you’re never gonna break me
Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me, oh, ooh oh oh
Take me away (take me away)
A secret place (a secret place)
A sweet escape (a sweet escape)
Take me away (take me away)
Take me away (take me away)
To better days (to better days)
Take me away (take me away)
A hiding place (a hiding place)
Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield was blasted on my ipod. It was a song that had me happy and full of life. I could listen to that song all day. I felt like Emma Stone on Easy A. First her character hated the song, but then she starts liking it and singing along to it. She was singing the song in the shower. Then she was full on singing it and enjoying herself, but then the song ended. Well that I do every time that song comes on the radio or on my ipod.
“Katherine!” I heard my name being yelled.
